Thank you for booking your Kick-off Meeting with RBC Marketing.

The kick-off meeting marks the launch of your project, and our goal is to align on expectations, clarify your objectives, and lay the groundwork for a successful partnership.

 

To help us make the most of our time together, please review the agenda below and ensure the right team members (decision makers and anyone providing input or approvals) are able to attend the kick-off meeting.

Kick-off Meeting Agenda

Duration: 60 minutes
Attendees:

  • Client: All key team members involved in decision-making or providing input

  • RBC Marketing: John Wright (all projects), plus Shaaron (for website projects), and/or Niki (for social media marketing)

1.     Welcome & Introductions (5 minutes)

  • Introductions from all attending, and outline of their roles

 

2.     Understanding Your Business (10 minutes)

  • Tell us about your business, team, and company values

 

3.     Clarifying Goals & Project Objectives (10 minutes)

  • Discuss your main goals and priorities for this project/campaign

  • Identify what success looks like for your business

 

4.     Branding, Requirements & Client Insights (10 minutes)

  • Review branding guidelines, messaging, and target audience

  • Discuss specific requirements, preferences, or existing assets 
     

5.     Project Timeline & Process (10 minutes)

  • RBC to present the project timeline and key milestones

  • RBC to explain the draft and revision process:

    • First draft produced by RBC Marketing

    • Two rounds of amendments/feedback included

    • Additional changes after two rounds may incur extra fees

 

6.     Communication, Access & Approvals (5 minutes)

  • Confirm main points of contact and preferred communication channels

  • Outline progress tracking and reporting

  • Clarify who will approve deliverables to ensure no late-stage changes

 

7.     Client Questions & Concerns (5 minutes)

  • Address any additional queries, feedback, or concerns

 

8.     Next Steps & Confirmation (5 minutes)

  • Summarise key points and agreed actions

  • Confirm you wish to proceed

  • Explain deposit/payment requirements (25% of total fee before work begins)

  • Outline immediate next steps (contracts, invoicing, providing access to assets)
